I have always been a fan of "My So-Called Life"... a breakout role for Clare Danes, and an inspiration to every teenage girl who felt her life was irrelevant. I often feel that way. I feel this way because life is complicated and challenging, and because sin ultimately exists.
But the truth is, my story is both unique and common at the same time. I have learned over the last month that those who have shared their stories with me have made a difference in my life. During an extremely difficult time, those stories helped not only normalize my personal pain, but give me hope for my future and the future of my family.
May my story be the same to you. Life may be difficult, but it is also beautiful and wonderful and exhilerating. Life is filled with God's Grace! And when we share our own stories, other people's stories become that much more important.
